Backwards to the Future

It is okay to wonder what life would be like had we done things differently. I know for myself that when I look back I ask myself what I would do different if I could do things over. It’s then that I realize that had I not made those mistakes and decisions, than I may not be right here right now. I may not be who I am. Maybe I would be somewhere better in life, or maybe somewhere worse but I would not be here. I may not have the friends that I have, or the wisdom that I have gained. I may not have experienced the hardships that have molded me into the person I am. I may have never experienced real love. With all those wrong turns I have made, each one directed me to this exact place. I am not a perfect human being, nor do I want to be. I am the image of a higher power. I am Gods creation. With every mistake, and every sin I have made, I am perfect in the Lords eyes. I am not going to preach, because I would be a hypocrite but I believe that I can be better and do better. I believe that looking back will not help me move forward. I believe that God has gifted me this life to help and inspire people of all kinds. So here is a piece of advice. Be the best you that you can be. Be better than yesterday and prepare for a greater tomorrow. Be kind and be gentle. Live for God.
