Curiosity kills the cat

The thing that keeps me curious the most is honestly why we have to pay for things that are needed to keep us alive…such as water, heat, food, clothing. I can understand paying for anything extra like ice cream, and chips and stuff like that, but basic things like meat, eggs, bread..I can understand paying for clothing that is high end, bougie, but underwear, socks, basic clothing? Heat? We need to keep warm. Water? Life sustenance. I don’t understand. Another thing? Why is there a bank on every street corner? Why do we need so many? Car washes? Why do we need so many? Grocery stores? Why not just one massive one? Why is everything so piled on top of each other? I just think it’s too much. Oh and don’t get me started on pot holes and construction..I can go on and on.
