🖤 “Still Here”
Verse:
Proverbs 17:17
“A friend loves at all times…”
Hey friend.
Can I ask you something?
When things got hard…
who stayed?
Not when it was easy.
Not when you were at your best.
But when you were off, distant, not yourself…
Who was still there?
Because loyalty sounds good until it gets tested.
Everybody says “I got you”—
until it actually costs them something.
Time. Energy. Patience. Grace.
That’s when you find out what’s real.
And if we’re being honest…
some of us have felt the opposite.
People leaving.
People switching up.
People only around when it benefits them.
And after a while, it can mess with you.
Make you question people.
Make you guard yourself.
Even make you wonder if real loyalty even exists.
But here’s something steady you can hold onto:
God’s loyalty doesn’t shift.
2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful…”
That means even on your off days—He’s still there.
Even when you don’t show up right—He still does.
Even when you’re distant—He hasn’t moved.
That’s real loyalty.
And the more you understand that…
the more it changes how you live.
Because now it’s not just about who’s loyal to you—
it’s about who you’re becoming too.
Loyal in how you love.
Loyal in how you show up.
Loyal even when it’s inconvenient.
Not because people always deserve it…
but because you’re grounded in something deeper.
So yeah… people might fail you sometimes.
But you’re not walking through life alone.
You’ve got a God who doesn’t switch up.
Doesn’t walk out.
Doesn’t change His mind about you.
He’s still here.
