Hey friend.
Can we be real for a second?
Not every day feels put together.
Some days you wake up already tired.
Your thoughts are loud, your heart feels off, and you’re just trying to make it through without falling apart.
And you start thinking, “I can’t come to God like this.”
“I need to fix myself first.”
“I need to get it together before I show up.”
But that’s not how this works.
There’s a verse that reminds us:
Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
He didn’t say “come to me when you’re strong.”
He said come when you’re tired.
Come when you’re heavy.
Come when you’re barely holding it together.
Messy is actually the starting point—not the disqualification.
Because if you had to fix yourself first… you wouldn’t need Him.
And I think we forget that sometimes.
We think God is waiting on the version of us that has it all together.
But He’s not surprised by your mess.
He’s not backing away from it.
He’s not intimidated by it.
He’s the one who meets you right in it.
So if today feels like chaos… show up anyway.
If your prayers are broken sentences… show up anyway.
If all you’ve got is “God help me”… that still counts.
You don’t have to clean yourself up to be loved by Him.
You come as you are—and He does the cleaning, the healing, the rebuilding.
So stop waiting to be perfect.
Just show up.
Messy. Tired. Honest.
And watch what He does with that.
