🖤 “Use What You’ve Been Given”
Verse:
1 Peter 4:10
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…”
Hey friend.
You ever feel like what you have to offer isn’t enough?
Like yeah—you see the need.
You see people hurting, struggling, barely getting by.
And you want to help…
But then that thought creeps in:
“What difference can I really make?”
So you hold back.
You overthink it.
You wait until you feel more “ready.”
But listen—
God never asked you to have everything.
He just asked you to use something.
That verse says:
1 Peter 4:10
“Use whatever gift you have…”
Not the gift you wish you had.
Not someone else’s gift.
Yours.
And here’s the part people miss—
Serving isn’t always big, loud, or noticeable.
Sometimes it looks like:
showing up for someone who feels forgotten
giving when you don’t have much
listening when someone just needs to be heard
It’s small things that carry big weight.
Jesus said something that flips everything:
Matthew 25:40
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these… you did for me.”
Think about that.
When you show up for someone struggling—
you’re not just helping them.
You’re serving Him.
And I know…
Sometimes it feels like you don’t have much to give.
Maybe you’re tired.
Maybe you’re stretched thin.
Maybe you’re still trying to get yourself together.
But God doesn’t wait until you’re perfect to use you.
He uses you as you are.
There’s a story about a boy with just a little food—
Five loaves. Two fish.
Nothing crazy.
But when he gave it to Jesus…
It fed thousands.
John 6:9-11
👉 That’s the point.
It’s not about how much you have.
It’s about what God can do with what you’re willing to give.
So don’t sit on your gift.
Don’t wait until it feels bigger or more impressive.
Someone out there needs exactly what you carry.
